Doug Davis works in the Cloud, Open Source and Standards division of IBM. He has been working on open source and standards for over 15 years and has been involved in many of the more popular initiatives—such as Apache SOAP & Axis, most of the W3C and OASIS standards around Web Services/SOAP, OpenStack, CloudFoundry and most recently Docker, OCI and CNCF. He founded an interoperability consortium around Web Services, called WSTF, and hosts a web site (http://soaphub.org) which is used by several organizations to manage their real-time collaborative discussions.
