Runa is the Director of Information Security for the Newsroom at The New York Times. She helped launch nytimes.com/tips in 2016 and has lead numerous digital security trainings to educate journalists about how to protect their data, communications and sources. She is an advisor to Freedom of the Press Foundation and a member of the review board for Black Hat Europe.
