Overview
Oracle DBA Fundamentals Complete Video Course presents the architecture, roles, and process of being an Oracle Database Administrator. The video training covers all of the core skills required to administer an Oracle database.
DBAs will be able to follow a basic core curriculum structure, or look for specific topical areas that they need more information on.
Description
Part 1 covers an introduction to the Oracle Database and the role of the DBA. Topics include Oracle Database architecture, installing the Oracle Database, creating the Oracle Database, connecting to the database, and administrating users. In addition, the video covers Basic SQL for a DBA and administer code files.
About the Instructor
Robert G. Freeman is an Oracle DBA with more than 25 years of experience working with Oracle database-related software. He currently works for Businessolver, Inc. in Des Moines, IA. Robert worked for Oracle Corporation for five years and has worked for, contracted at, or consulted with such organizations as CSX Railroad, United Airlines, the FBI, The Federal Reserve, The Chicago Board of Trade Clearing Corporation, the Congress of the United States, and many other commercial and Federal organizations. He is the author and co-author of numerous books, including Oracle Database 12c New Features and Oracle Database 12c RMAN Backup and Recovery, among others.
