Ansible: From Basics to Guru teaches Ansible from the ground up, so whether you’re a novice or an experienced developer, administrator or user, this course will help you get the most out of your Ansible solutions and playbooks and manage your heterogeneous environment. This course consists of all the major and popular topics and concepts that are relevant to Ansible. It begins with the basics of Ansible and how to get started. It then explores how to develop flexible playbooks before jumping into managed infrastructure, ad-hoc commands, Ansible AWX, conditionals, plugins, and managing containers, among various other important topics.
Ansible Core Concepts and Advanced Features has been built to help developers, administrators, and users get up to speed quickly on Ansible’s concepts and functionality. Learn what Ansible is and how to modify and organize your Ansible setup, how it is organized, and explore playbooks, modules, and content collections, and how to use them with variables and conditionals. You will also explore how to manage files with Jinja2 templates, and Ansible roles to include standardized components in Ansible. It also looks at more advanced topics, including filters and plugins, which let you easily extend Ansible functionality.

About the Instructor
Sander van Vugt has many years of experience working with, writing about, and teaching Linux and open-source topics. He is the author of the best-selling Red Hat RHCSA Cert Guide and the Red Hat RHCSA Complete Video Course, along with many other titles on topics that include RHCE, Bash, Kubernetes, Ansible, and more. Sander also works as a Linux instructor, teaching on-site and online classes for customers around the world. - A minimum of three virtual machines, running any Linux distribution (Red Hat family recommended)
- Optionally, the following can be added:
- One virtual machine running Windows
- Administrator access to AWS
- Administrator access to Azure
- A Cisco network device
- A virtual machine running VMware ESXi
