This video course provides a structured, practical approach to deploying Meraki switched networksfrom foundational switching concepts to advanced configuration and security.
Youll start with Meraki Dashboard fundamentals, then move into switchingspecific topics such as VLANs, port types, port profiles, and Layer 2 forwarding behavior. The course covers resilient design using Spanning Tree and link aggregation, as well as advanced features including SVIs, virtual stacking, QoS, MTU tuning, and routing integration.
Security is addressed through authentication methods such as 802.1X, access control lists, MAC allow lists, rogue DHCP detection, and rolebased access control. Youll also learn to troubleshoot switching issues using packet capture, port mirroring, event logs, and syslog. By the end of the course, youll be equipped to deploy reliable and secure Meraki switching infrastructures.
