Overview
In this SolidWorks 2015 - Drawing Tools training course, expert author Dean Kerste will teach you how to use the drawing tools in SolidWorks to create 2D engineering production drawings of parts and assemblies. This course is designed for users that already have a fundamental understanding of SolidWorks.
You will start by learning the drawing fundamentals, then jump into learning intermediate drawing views and functions. From there, Dean will teach you the basics of drawing annotations, then move on to intermediate drawing annotations, such as surface finish, weld symbol, and hole callout. This video tutorial also covers tables, the bill of materials, and drawing templates. Finally, Dean will help you prepare for the Drawing Tools Certification, leaving you with exam strategies and a practice exam.
Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will be fully capable of using the drawing tools in SolidWorks to create your own 2D drawings, as well as prepare for the Drawing Tools Certification exam. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.
