Overview
In this Minecraft Modding with Forge training course, expert author Arun Gupta, along with his son Aditya Gupta, will teach you the basics of Minecraft modding. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no programming experience is required.
You will start with an introduction on how to download and install the tools needed to begin modding. From there, Arun and Aditya will teach you how to create simple, fun mods, including chat items, rain water, an arrow shotgun, and more. Finally, you will take a look at the Minecraft Modding with Forge O'Reilly book by Arun and Aditya, which teaches you how to create a separate set of Minecraft mods, such as explosions, movement, and entities.
Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will be fully capable of creating your own Minecraft mods with Forge.
