Getting Started with Adobe InDesign CC 2015

In this Getting Started with Adobe InDesign CC 2015 training course, expert author Andy Anderson will teach you everything you need to know to design and create documents in Adobe InDesign. This course is designed for the absolute beginner, meaning no previous experience with InDesign is required.

You will start by learning about working with text, including how to generate text frames, thread text frames, and work with spell check. From there, Andy will teach you how to add images to a document, control documents, and work with strokes and fills. This video tutorial also takes you through building a brochure, including adding fonts from Typekit, setting up margins and guides, and adding images and text. You will also learn how to build a magazine cover, including how to add images, edit images externally, and apply styles. Finally, you will learn how to prep and package a document, print a booklet, and publish your document online.

Once you have completed this computer based training course, you will have learned everything you need to know to be able to design and create your own documents in Adobe InDesign. Working files are included, allowing you to follow along with the author throughout the lessons.
