The author used a clone() method twice, as in: document.body.appendChild(paragraphs[i].clone(true)); However, there is no clone method for the DOM element. It should be cloneNode(true) instead.

Note from the Author or Editor:
Yes, this is an error - clone(), used in both examples on the second half of the page, is the jQuery method, and cloneNode() is the native JavaScript method; must have mixed the two up. Replacing ".clone(" with ".cloneNode(" will fix this.
