Because of a printing error, FIGURE 1-2 "A transactional application separates an application into presentation, business logic, and data storage" was dropped from the book. Instead of a figure, there is just a blank white space.

Figure 1-2 is missing from the book, but the web site mistakenly provides Figure 2-1.
