First line in that paragraph reads: FTPMAIL is a mail server available to anyone who can send and COPYRIGHTreceive eletronic mail to and from Internet sites. Looks like a stray "COPYRIGHT" got stuck in there by mistake.

The long example in the middle of p. 81 has two errors.

The line: enter : ${FRC} should be: enter : ${FRC} ${ENTER_OBJS} ${LIBRARIES} And the line: testex : ${FRC} should be: testex : ${FRC} ${TESTEX_OBJS} ${LIBRARIES} To summarize in technical terms, the executables should be made to depend on the objects and libraries from which they are built.
