Printed Page c
is listed as a separate option invoking compression, and the option is shown at

the end.

In fact, "c" is simply another valid density code in the [x] position.

It cannot be used with a different density code, and it cannot
be used in any other position.

Both the "c" and the "u" (not listed) density settings are
identical.

Shadow password files: changed

The "changed" and "expires" field (at least on solaris) is not stored in the more
normal Unix time format of seconds since epoch, but in days since epoch.

I am less certain about the Linux format, but I believe it is similar.

Kill section

'killall' is listed for FreeBSD/Linux.

A similar command for Solaris would be 'pkill'.

renice section

I'm wondering why the listing for the 'priocntl' line for Solaris? It's a rather
complex command that doesn't seem appropriate for a pocket reference, when 'renice'
is also available for the platform.

If it was intended, it contains a minor formatting error.
The "-i pid" is optional, and the pid portion is literal, so it
should be formatted in bold non-italic.
