Quick Check -Answer to Question 2.

Question 2 on page 81 asks: Which Technology allows an IPv4-only host to communicate with the IPv6 Internet?

The answer given is "6to4".

The text on page 79 at the bottom describes 6to4 as a protocol that tunnels IPv6 traffic over IPv4 traffic through 6to4 routers. 6to4 clients have their router's IPv4 address embedded in their IPv6 address and do not require an Ipv4 address.

Doesn't an "IPv4-only host" mean that the host does not have an IPv6 address? Next Generation TCP/IP allows a host to use either IPv4 or IPv6 but then it would not be an "IPv4-only host" is my understanding.

All the IPv4 activity in an IPv6 enviorment seems to require that the IPv4 host have an IPv6 address either as a Teredo client or Next Generation. I

chapter2 in practice 3

In practice 3 you write about adding a computer to a domain nwtraders.msft
You will never do this without specifying a dns number beforehand
that is why many people who make this exersice can't add their computer Boston to the domain nwtraders.msft
if you add a dns number in tcp/ip properties

First bullet point

The fourth sentence in this bullet point is reversed.

It says you should substitute the "." for the remote server name. It should read "If you want to enable GlobalNames zone support on a remote server, substitute the remote server name for the ".""

part of procedure is missing

a step is missing for you to configurate the event forwarding subscription (without it, can't work... cf to the 70-680 exam's datas) :
you need to tell dcsrv1 where it musts forward its events

to do so, go to your DC and make an adapted GPO by configuring the computer configuration\administrative templates\windows components\event forwarding node of the GPO

Lesson 1 Question 2 Correct Answer

The offered correct answer of D sounds more appropriate for describing the behaviour of sharing files hosted on a BitLocker encrypted volume assumes a DRA like service that transparently decrypts EFS encrypted file system objects if read via a share.

Wouldn't C be the correct answer. The file system objects are encrypted to individual certificates. The EFS certificates for the users expected to read the file should be added to the file(s)/folder(s).

Answer to question number 4

The answers A and D are both technically correct. 131.107.175.0/25 and 131.107.175.128/25 are of the same size. So it's just a matter of taste whether one leave the lower of the upper half of the available address space unassigned. Answer D may be odd but it is not incorrect.
