Lab Setup Instructions paragraph 1

'Instructions for configuring all computers used for the practice labs are provided in the appendix.'

There is no appendix in the TOC and I can't find it in the book.

The Practice Test that comes on the CD

The Practice Test that comes on the CD with this book contains a mistake in the following question.

"Which Exchange Server 2010 Mailbox server configurations can be configured to be members of a database availability group? (Each correct answer presents a complete solution. Choose two.)"

It states chose two, where in fact there are four correct answers.

Exchange Server 2010 Standard edition installed on Windows Server 2008 Datacenter Edition [Correct answer, but shown as incorrect]

Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise edition installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard edition [Incorrect answer]

Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise edition installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition [Correct answer]

Exchange Server 2010 Standard edition installed on Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition [Correct answer, but shown as incorrect]

Exchange Server 2010 Enterprise edition installed on Windows Server 2008 Datacenter edition [Correct Answer]

The explanation is also wrong. You can have a DAG on Exchange 2010 Standard or Enterprise Edition (but you will be limited to 5 databases per server with Standard Edition).

I have found other mistakes in these tests too. Is there an updated version that you could send me please?

Kind regards
Phil Barber

CD

It seems that no-one has even reviewed these Errata submissions for the last year. But here is another one for you.....

The following question on the CD I believe has the wrong answer.

"You want to use the MTLS protocol to secure email messages over the Internet between your organization and the contoso.com domain. Your edge transport server DEN-Edge1 has a Send and a Receive connector both named Internet and both configured for Internet communications. Your organization also contains a hub transport server, DEN-Hub1.

Which command specifies the domain (contoso.com) to which you want to send domain-secured email, and which server should you run it on? Which command enables domain security on the Internet Send connector, and which server should you run it on? (Each correct answer presents part of the solution. Choose two.)"

Run the command Set-SendConnector Internet -DomainSecureEnabled:$true on DEN-Hub1 [correct answer, but shown as incorrect]

Run the command Set-SendConnector Internet -ProtocolLoggingLevel Verbose on DEN-Edge1 [incorrect answer]

Run the command Set-TransportConfig -TLSSendDomainSecureList contoso.com on DEN-Edge1 [incorrect answer]

Run the command Set-TransportConfig -TLSSendDomainSecureList contoso.com on DEN-Hub1 [correct answer]

Run the command Set-SendConnector Internet -DomainSecureEnabled:$true on DEN-Edge1 [incorrect answer, but shown as correct]

Run the command Set-SendConnector Internet -ProtocolLoggingLevel Verbose on DEN-Hub1 [incorrect answer]

see - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-gb/library/bb123543(v=exchg.141).aspx

"...the Contoso administrator runs the following command on an internal Exchange 2010 server for the Internet Send connector.

Set-SendConnector Internet -DomainSecureEnabled:$true

--------------------------
Am getting really fed up with the number of mistakes and the lack of attention to detail in this book and CD. Plus it should have been updated for SP1 to match the content of the 70-662 exam.

Under Removing a Database

There should be a warning here that you cannot remove a database that contains mailboxes. There will be an error and you cannot delete a database unless it is empty of mailboxes.
