Paragraph before Figure 1-1

"[...] As shown in Figure 1-1, it just displays the application
icon, creates the RDP file for that application when the user double-clicks that icon (1), [...]"

Indeed, to start the RemoteApp users have to single-click the icon, rather than double-click it. I think this is important, because in my experience a double-click can bring the RemoteApp start dialogue background, giving the (average) user the feeling that nothing is happening and forcing him/her to use Alt-Tab to bring the dialogue foreground.

"This is why some people choose RAID 10, which mirrors striped volumes."

No - RAID 10 is a stripe of mirrors. RAID 0+1 mirrors striped volumes.

"RAID 10 is fault-tolerant, but essentially combines 5 and 1."

This is incorrect. RAID 10 is a stripe of mirrors, combining 1 and 0. No parity information is written.

Table 2-2

The description for Memory: Page Faults/Sec says,
"The rate at which the RD Session Host server is reading
from and writing to the page file. Higher numbers indicate
that the server might be low on memory for its user load."

However, that is not accurate. That would be a more accurate description of Pages/Sec. Page Faults/Sec is both soft and hard faults. Seems to me the perfmon counter we want here is Pages/Sec. I would actually like to see more information included about various potentially helpful counters for RDS. Maybe there is more later in the book and I know these are focussed on determining the load capacity.

"if the profile cache on a server exceeds the quota allocated to the profile cache, it will delete the most recently used profiles"

Luckily, this is not so. It will delete the _least_ recently used profiles.

second list, item 1

Item one in the second list reads:

1. On the RD Session Broker computer, open RD Session Host Configuration. Open the RD Connection Broker Properties window by double-clicking the Member Of RD Connection Broker link located in the Edit Settings window.

"Member Of RD Connection Broker" should read "Member Of farm in RD Connection Broker"
