Laws of UX

The errata list is a list of errors and their corrections that were found after the product was released. If the error was corrected in a later version or reprint the date of the correction will be displayed in the column titled "Date Corrected".

The following errata were submitted by our customers and approved as valid errors by the author or editor.

"this a pretty straightforward task" should read "this is a pretty straightforward task".

The sentence is missing an "is".

1st paragraph

The sentence reads:

“MIT Touch Lab conducted a study that showed that the average adult human’s finger pad is 10–14 mm and the average fingertip is 8–10 mm.“

Instead, it should be updated to read:

“MIT Touch Lab conducted a study that showed that the average adult human’s fingertips are 16–20 mm in diameter.“

Footnote

The URL that’s listed in the footnote citation is not related to the research paper being cited. Since this research paper is not available online ('The economic value of rapid response time'), the URL should be removed altogether.
