10.Anti patterns > Icon Mismatch |
The icon shown on Figure 10-13 is the "Action" (or recently "Share" icon according the official Apple mobile HIG.
At the publication of the book it was defined as "Action": "Open an action sheet that allows users to take an application-specific action."
Now it has the name "Share"
"Open an action sheet that lists system-provided and app-specific services that act on the specified content"
The icon is not send/share only!!!!!
A lot of application us it the same way, according to the guidelines, check e.g. Safari browser. How the book can describe the "official" iOS behavior as an antipattern?
