Perhaps instead of "#linkname" it would be clearer to use the example "#anchorname".
Or perhaps I am misunderstanding the instructions.

I think this is the wrong image. In my DW 4.0:

Left, Top-left, and Top is called "Left and Top".
Top and NEsted Left is called "Left Top"
Left and NEst Top is called "Top Left"
Split Frame Center is called "Split"

I'm a bit confused by your use of the word "document" with respect to frames. You
describe a way to create LeftTop without using nested framesets and say "you can
create frames in two different documents rather than using a nested frameset in a
single document. What do you mean by document? Isn't a frameset the outermost
container? If you mean file, I don't understand how I have 2 files.

Then lower you say "to save your frameset file and the documents that occupy the
frames within it". Here I assume that "documents" means "referenced files". Perhaps
it would be better to say files?

Is document being used in the same way in both excerpts?
