RapidFTR (Family Tracing and Reunification)[296] is an open source mobile-phone app that helps locate and reunite lost children during conflict in war-torn third-world countries. It is run by the Child Protection in Emergencies team at UNICEF. I worked on Blackberry mobile-interface designs that allowed field representatives to capture information about lost people quickly and efficiently.
