CHAPTER 12High-Brightness LED Strobe
THE EVIL GENIUS FINDS that a bright strobe light can be used to strike fear into the heart of his enemies. (See Figure 12-1.) What’s more, it’s great for parties. The Evil Genius writes himself a memo: “Arrange party for me. Order minions to capture some guests.”
This project uses an array of 36 high-brightness LEDs (HB LEDs). It’s small, battery-powered, and very efficient. A knob on the side allows the frequency of the flashing to be varied.
