C. A Closer Look at 123D Design
Autodesk has an entire collection of CAD-related free applications for Mac and Windows, as well as a number of similar free apps for iPhone and iPad. You can find them at 123dapp.com. One of Autodesk’s offerings is a 3D modeling application called 123D Design that is similar to Tinkercad but offers some additional tools and features.
This appendix introduces you to the 123D Design application. You’ll learn about some of the features it shares with Tinkercad as well as some that are unique. The screenshots in this appendix were taken using the Mac version of the 123D Design application, but the Windows and iOS versions work the same way.
