It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix . Know the Rules and Don’t Break Them!
XML works great as long as you follow the rules. Make a small mistake in print or Web design and you often don’t notice until the project has been finished and is “in the can.” But an XML workflow is different. Make a single mistake, even a simple one, and the whole thing crashes. We’ve already discovered the hard way what will break your code and your project and compiled a simple list of 15 XML rules for designers. You’ll find them sprinkled throughout the book, but here they are together to make them easier to remember and follow!
