Keeping Track of Your Records
During my time as a combat photographer, I made countless trips all around the world. Some assignments lasted a few days; others were months at a time. No matter the trip duration, I was required to keep detailed trip logs that included daily activity reports, expenditures, receipts, and other miscellaneous trip-related documents. I got into the habit of using pocket folders like the ones featured in Figure 8.5 to keep all of these articles together. I’ve adapted this method of record keeping in my daily assignment work, too.
