Chapter 6. Exploratory Testing
6.1 Introduction
So far, the focus has been on automated tests. In this chapter the spotlight now is on manual testing, and especially on exploratory tests. Section 6.2 discusses why and where exploratory tests make sense. Section 6.3 shows a concrete procedure for performing these tests. A comprehensive introduction into this topic can also be found in the book “Explore It!”1 that explains the concepts in much more detail.
