The transition to a proactive response is unusual in that it is one in which process is as important as the story itself. While a superb story can lift individuals over an inspiration threshold, it takes superior interaction processes to cross the trust barrier, which is essential for the renegotiation of personal contracts. Together, inspiration and trust produce the thrill which propels a fragmented group of individuals towards an inspired partnership (Figure 9.1).1
