4. Viewing and Finding Files

Even if you are fairly organized with your files, you can still easily misplace a file or forget where a file is stored. Windows Vista provides methods for viewing and sorting files to help you locate a particular file. In addition, Windows Vista has greatly enhanced its search capabilities. First, you can use the new Instant Search text box that appears on the Start menu and in Explorers to search for a file, program, or music, and you can search based on the filename, its content, or other criteria.
