A picture in your listing greatly increases the chances of actually selling your item—and also increases the average price you will receive.

Adding a picture to your listing is a fairly easy process. Basically, you have to work through the following three steps:

1. Take a digital photo of your item.

2. Edit the image file so that it looks pretty.

3. Upload your image file to a server somewhere on the Internet or use eBay’s Picture Services.
