The Pen tool requires a little more coordination than other Illustrator tools. Fortunately, Adobe Illustrator CS4 includes new features to help make using the Pen tool a little easier.   • Bézier curve: Originally developed by Pierre Bézier in the 1970s for CAD/CAM operations, the Bézier curve (as shown in Figure 5-1) became the underpinnings of the entire Adobe PostScript drawing model. A Bézier curve is one that you can control the depth and size of by using direction lines.
