Modifying artwork is a user-friendly experience with the tools, panels, and commands that Illustrator provides.

Modifying Objects Using Bounding Boxes

You can easily modify selected objects using the bounding box that surrounds them.

Hide or show the bounding box

Do either of the following:

  • Choose View > Hide Bounding Box.

  • Choose View > Show Bounding Box.

Tip

The bounding box is visible by default.

Scale objects free-form

Do the following (Figure 13.1):

  1. Hover the cursor
