I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
07 INCORPORATING TEXTURE
Select the Add Noise fi lter from the Noise section of the Filter menu. Adjust the thumbnail preview to a view of 100% and tick the Preview option. Select Uniform for an even distribution of new pixels across the image, or pick Gaussian for a more speckled effect.
Tick the Monochromatic option to restrict the effect to changes in the tone of pixels rather than color.
