This chapter introduces you to creating OpenGL applications using CVI’s OpenGL instrument driver. The rudimentary concepts and terms of OpenGL are explained as necessary. This chapter does not explain the details of using OpenGL. For that you need to obtain information on OpenGL from other sources. The CVI’s OpenGL library functions are explained as used in the project created in this chapter. Using the project you will see how to control the plotted data in three dimensions on OpenGL control.
