In the previous chapter, we successfully built and tested a monolithic, single-agent system for processing loan applications. By leveraging the FCoT pattern and a robust set of tools, we constructed a Level 3 agent capable of orchestrating an entire workflow.
This single-agent architecture is a powerful and necessary milestone on the agentic maturity journey. It delivers end-to-end autonomous value and serves as the perfect foundation for what comes next.
