Code is cheap. Now what?
You’ve read LinkedIn posts on hyperproductivity achieved using coding agents. Forget the 10x programmer; judging by their self-reported success, there’s a wave of 100x or even 1000x programmers out there. They grind out applications overnight, powered by nothing more than an outsized token subscription and the conviction that the alternative is to be left behind. Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, predicted in 2025 that the first billion-dollar company run by a solopreneur would be created in 2026.
Has that happened? I’m sure you would have noticed.
