The Most Popular Agile Methods
Agile methods have become very popular because of the promise to deliver superior quality products in significantly shorter time frames than traditional practices. Along with meeting an organization’s needs and business goals, agile methods focus on satisfying stakeholders and the end user. This chapter discusses two agile methods only: Scrum and XP. There are in fact other agile methods, however, this chapter discusses the two methods that are considered to be the most popular. Additional agile methods are covered in Chapter 17.
