Force Field
Description and Rationale
Use Force Field to examine what factors in the organization will support a proposed change and which will inhibit the change. This activity is best in a single team-sized group at any level of the organization, from senior leadership to delivery teams. Use Force Field as a planning exercise to create viable ideas to take into the next phase—Decide What to Do.[8]
Time Needed
45 to 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the desired change under discussion. More complexity will take longer.
