In this chapter, we deliberately shift perspective. Rather than simply cataloging new APIs or highlighting iOS 26 features, we explore a new way of working. We will primarily introduce Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and how they can fundamentally reshape the way we build SwiftUI applications. We will begin by exploring what MCP servers are and the problems they are designed to solve.
