Building a Network Co-Pilot
When I started in the field as a junior network engineer, I had lots of questions, and I mean lots of questions! Many of the answers could be found in books and online resources, but it took so long to search through different sources and piece together the answer. Other times, the answer took the form of tribal knowledge, meaning I had to spend hours looking through the current configuration and ask more senior engineers, and then – maybe – get a decent answer. In short, I wish I’d had a network co-pilot who could help me filter out answers, understand the network, answer my questions at all hours, and just be my network best friend.
