Modern analog and virtual analog hardware instruments

The instruments below were in production within 2000–2006. Those no longer in production or from companies now closed, such as Waldorf and Quasimidi, are often seen remaining as stock in some music stores, or on auction and sale websites such as eBay. Prices are approximate and subject to change.


•  Virus c/Virus kc. Twenty-four-voice, 16-part desktop/rack-mount virtual analog synth, effects, audio inputs, vocoder and five-octave keyboard version.

•  Virus Classic. More affordable desktop/rack-mount model roughly equivalent to the older Virus b.

•  Virus Rack. One-unit, 19-inch module version with limited controllers.
