8 Agents and Managers

The two primary types of actor representatives are agents and managers. (Others, such as publicists1 and entertainment lawyers, may join the team much further down the road, if at all.) As explained in the previous chapter on the casting process, agents and managers get much of their information from The Breakdowns, a daily list of casting opportunities that—officially—is only available to professional talent representatives.
