When you have multiple people managing different parts of your Apache server, it is often very useful to be able to give each person the ability to configure the particular directories for which they are responsible. This can, of course, be done with directives contained in <Directory>
sections. However, it is often desirable to restrict the number of people that have direct access to the main server configuration file.
