As with most other Apple products — including iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch — you can easily keep in touch with people using Apple Vision Pro. The Messages app may not be as slick as FaceTime (see Chapter 6), but you can easily send, read, and respond to messages inside of your new mixed-reality headset (see Figure 7-1).

Tip Messages are handled through the built-in Messages app, which lets you exchange messages over Wi-Fi with people who also use Apple’s proprietary iMessage feature on an Apple device. iMessage texts appear in blue bubbles, as opposed to the green bubbles used for regular text messages (if you have an iPhone, you’re familiar with this experience).
