Abstract
The “RFID-enhanced automotive verification system” is a groundbreaking solution that combines radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology, computer vision and the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to ensure the authenticity of replaced electronic components in vehicles. Each component is equipped with a unique RFID tag, enabling secure identification. When a replacement occurs, the ECU reads the RFID tag’s data, which includes the component’s unique identifier. This data is transmitted to a central server for immediate verification. Users can easily verify authenticity via a mobile app, fostering trust and transparency in the automotive service industry. This system enhances vehicle safety, customer satisfaction, and the integrity of auto services, setting new standards for authenticity assurance.
