So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Foi feito um esforço incrível de desenvolvimento para a criação de imagens personalizadas no Power BI. De facto, na minha última contagem superficial de visuais personalizados na listagem do AppSource do Power BI, encontrei 404! Muitos dos visuais personalizados nesta lista são 100% gratuitos para descarregar e utilizar. Alguns têm elementos gratuitos e depois elementos que podes licenciar para expandir a sua funcionalidade; por exemplo, os visuais xViz, ZoomCharts e Zebra BI funcionam desta forma. Tanto quanto sei, tudo o que se encontra na loja de aplicações tem, pelo menos, alguns componentes gratuitos.
Algo em que deves pensar quando utilizas visuais personalizados é se um visual é certificado. Os visuais certificados têm funcionalidades adicionais em linha com os visuais pré-embalados do Power BI, incluindo a capacidade de exportar os resultados para PowerPoint ou incorporar o visual em e-mails de subscrições. O facto de um visual não estar certificado não significa que não seja seguro ou que constitua um risco de segurança.
