So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Abundan los puestos de DevSecOps, pero si se observan los requisitos para esos puestos, rápidamente se hace evidente que no hay acuerdo sobre lo que realmente implica DevSecOps. He escrito libros sobre todo tipo de tecnologías, desde MySQL a JavaScript, pasando por Windows Server y los cortafuegos de Linux. Cada una de esas tecnologías tiene un ámbito bien definido. Escribir sobre cortafuegos de Linux no requiere abarcar varias tecnologías y habilidades diferentes en el mismo libro. Pero DevSecOps no está tan bien definido. Escribir sobre DevSecOps expone las fisuras en la forma en que definimos las tecnologías, entre el trabajo práctico real y el bombo publicitario. Incluso el término "DevSecOps" no se utiliza tan ampliamente como el término "DevOps". Es cierto que "DevSecOps" no se suelta de la lengua tan fácilmente como "DevOps", pero es más que eso.
