Ask Everywhere–All the Time
You have heard the advice that “practice makes perfect” or “perfect practice makes perfect.” The belief is that you should practice the correct way, every time, in order to improve. However, when it comes to asking, perfect practice prevents better results. Here’s why. You aren’t perfect. You will never be perfect, never ask perfectly, and never get a perfect result. Focusing on perfecting the way you make requests keeps you from asking and practicing. When it comes to asking outrageously, practice all the time to prove to yourself that making requests leads to positive results.
