I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Changing Object Properties
All objects have properties controlling their appearance. When you draw a line, you are ultimately specifying its geometric properties (the start point and the endpoint). Likewise, when you draw a circle you are just specifying its center point and radius properties. Geometric properties are the most important factor governing how objects look and determining where the objects are in space.
In addition to geometric properties, all objects share a short list of general properties: layer, color, linetype, linetype scale, lineweight, transparency, and thickness. Although general properties are assigned on a per-object basis, they are usually controlled using layers.
