I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The subject of automotive cybersecurity involves many concepts, engineering methods, and technologies, some of which are unique to the automotive domain while others are shared with adjacent fields. The unique aspects are derived from the fact that the vehicle belongs to the family of cyber-physical systems. In such systems, embedded computers integrate with sensors and networking components to control physical processes, which then provide feedback to the computing environment. While sharing concepts with the domain of information security, breaches of cyber-physical systems result in physical impacts that can cause the unsafe operation of the system with the potential for injury and loss of life.
