When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Much as LEGO pieces interconnect, all of nature is connected in an intricate balance. This is the overarching theme of my exhibit “Nature Connects,” which aims to showcase these con- nections and the beauty of nature by installing larger-than-life LEGO sculptures at arboretums and botanical gardens around the world.
Beyond the technical aspects of creating complex organic sculptures with little bricks, I always aim to capture the essence of my subject; it has to have that special something. It has to have life. I like to think that what I create is more than just a bunch of pieces pressed together the right way; my scuulptures need to be rooted in personal expression and have some kind of educational or artistic value.
