Web pages typically consist of text, images, and other data arranged in a visually pleasing way. The purpose of an office suite such as OO.o is to provide tools to artfully arrange text and visuals, which is perfect for building web pages.
Again you'll tackle two projects in this chapter. You'll begin with a newsletter designed to be distributed via e-mail (see Figure 8-1) and move on to create a small, graphical promotional widget that can be easily incorporated into other sites.
