Up to this point in the book, we have been laying the foundation for “putting it all together” in learning what type of investor each person is. The foundational elements of each Behavioral Investor Type (BIT) are the behavioral biases that each investor exhibits. You have done the hard part of understanding the origins of the biases and how to use them; we will now move to learning each BIT. Part Five starts with a discussion of why attaining financial goals is so difficult for so many people around the world. Chapter 24 then discusses the BIT framework. Then Chapters 25–28 review each of the four BITs—Preserver, Follower, Independent, and Accumulator. Which one are you?
